Description

Delicious, light and very digestive corn and quinoa cakes. Both quinoa and corn are naturally gluten-free and are controlled so that there can be no cross-contamination, therefore these cakes are suitable for gluten-free diets, too. Quinoa is a pseudo-cereal with a high content in proteins with high biological value, as, unlike other cereals, it has all of the essential amino-acids which make these cakes a very nutritional product.

The Mini Corn and Quinoa Cakes are ideal for having as a snack between meals, alone or accompanied by other foods. Because they are so thin and aerated, they fill a lot and weight very little, therefore they are ideal for low calorie diets and weight control, given that each cake has only 7 kcal. If they are eaten with nuts they will provide a very complete combination of protein, with a high biological value. They are also the perfect base for canapés.
If they lose their crunch, it is sufficient to heat them in the oven or microwave so that they seem freshly baked.
